Rituals and Trauma Resources: Home

This library guide is a curated list of print and digital resources created by Dr. Elías Ortega to assist Religious Educators and other Religious Professionals exploring ways to resource families with a rich ritual life to cope with moments of grief and trauma. Resources on this guide include print books, online articles, and videos.

Other Religious Education Resources at Meadville Lombard

The Fahs Collaborative Laboratory for Innovation in Faith Formation is a feisty cohort of religious educators who support people in living meaningful, socially conscious, and spiritually grounded lives. Our aim is to dismantle theological and cultural walls that divide the human family; promote alternative approaches to outmoded thinking, teaching, and learning strategies; and bring our creativity and social imagination to sticky problems that keep us from flourishing.

The Wiggin Library contains over 35,000 volumes, specializing in Unitarianism, Universalism, and Unitarian Universalism. This collection is available to ministers and religious educators and most of our books can be circulated through the mail. To create an account, email us at library@meadville.edu.

The MacLean Religious Education Special Collection collects curricular materials, teaching artifacts, theoretical frameworks, and the personal papers of liberal religious educators dating back to the origins of the Unitarian Universalist faith tradition. Materials were gathered from the Meadville Lombard library stacks, the Liberal Religious Educators Association, UU congregations, and personal collections of religious education practitioners around the world.
